BVSc (Hons 1)
Owner & Principal Veterinarian

Dr Jennifer is the senior veterinarian and owner of Cammeray Veterinary Hospital. After graduating at Sydney University with 1st class honours, Jennifer began her career in the mid-north coast working at a mixed animal practice. This gave her an opportunity to hone her surgery and diagnostic skills across all types of animals from cattle to red belly black snakes! She looks back to her time in a country as an important foundational period for her determination to solve the issue at hand.

More recently, she’s spent the last 10 years living and working in the area. At home she has her hands full with a husband (Chris), Kelpie (Peach), Chihuahua (Pokey) and her son George and daughter Valerie.

As a Cammeray local, Jen’s excited to bring the best possible veterinary care to the growing animal community.

Veterinarian

Like many young girls, Karmen’s dream was to become a veterinarian. This dream came true in 2016 when she graduated from the University of Sydney and took her first role in a busy hospital on the Central Coast. Karmen then returned to Sydney after two years and found her feet in Double Bay where she developed a love for surgery. This love blossomed into a passion which saw Karmen pursue further studies in Small Animal Surgery and in 2022 passed her exams to become a Member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.

Karmen’s main veterinary interests include orthopaedic surgery, anaesthesia and ultrasound. Outside of the hospital Karmen plays mum to two greyhounds, Millie and Diesel, and a thoroughbred horse, Magic.

Dr Rebecca Greenway

BVSc
Veterinarian

Dr. Rebecca grew up in Christchurch, and completed her veterinary studies at Massey University in  New Zealand. She spent her first year working in mixed animal practice, mostly with dairy cattle, cats, and dogs, before moving to Sydney to focus on companion animals (since there aren't too many cows around the city!). She loves the variety that comes with general practice and especially enjoys building strong relationships with both pets and their families.

When she's not at work, Rebecca loves being outdoors—whether it's hitting the beach, going for walks, or trying out new food spots in Sydney. On a rainy day, you'll find her baking with a cup of tea in hand and spending time with friends.
